Terms of Use

Last updated: October 10, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your access to PDFLeo at pdfleo.online and its document utilities. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the website.

1. The service

PDFLeo provides browser-based PDF and document utilities. Features may be experimental, change, be limited or unavailable. Tool labels should be read carefully: a beta or limited feature may not provide the same result as dedicated professional software. Always review output files before relying on them.

2. Your documents and permissions

You are responsible for the files you select, the rights you have to use them, and any copies you retain. Do not process documents unlawfully or infringe copyright, privacy, confidentiality or other rights. Keep your own backups of important files.

3. Processing and data

Tools designed for local browser processing generally work on your device; however, third-party libraries and future services may involve external requests. Do not assume every future feature processes files locally. Read the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific notice before using a tool with sensitive material.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use PDFLeo to break the law, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, abuse infrastructure, or bypass security measures. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.

5. No guarantee of results

PDF processing can change formatting, metadata, signatures, fonts, images or document structure. PDFLeo does not guarantee that every conversion is complete, accurate, compatible or suitable for a particular purpose. Verify each result independently, especially before legal, financial, academic or business use.

6. Intellectual property

You retain rights to your own files. The PDFLeo name, branding, website design and original website code are protected to the extent provided by applicable law. Third-party libraries and assets remain subject to their respective licenses.

7. Third-party services

The website may rely on third-party hosting, libraries or other services. Such services may have separate terms and privacy policies, and PDFLeo cannot guarantee their availability or operation.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or recovery of files. Download and save your own copies of all results you need.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties not expressly required by law. To the extent legally permitted, PDFLeo is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, failed conversions, loss of files or service interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits any mandatory consumer rights.

10. Privacy

Your use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The revised date will be shown above. Where required by law, we will provide notice or obtain consent for material changes.

12. Governing law

Mandatory laws applicable to you continue to apply. Before the service is commercially launched, the operator should add its legal identity and obtain advice on the appropriate governing-law and dispute-resolution wording.

13. Contact

Questions: hello@pdfleo.online. This email address must be configured and monitored before relying on it.

These terms are a general starting point, not legal advice. Arrange legal review for your actual business, target markets and feature set.
